Just the word "Saville" should pique your curiosity. Like Pennyfeather or Howell, it's a name that connotes luxury. The Saville Group of hotels consistently delivers the goods and the Saville on Russell is no different. The Saville on Russell has two major things going for it: first, it's grand, though not in a pleb-taunting way. Secondly, it has a fantastic location. Spitting distance from the CBD, an army of bars and restaurants, many major tourist attractions, and everything else you could possibly want, it still manages a high level of comfort. For ambience, it employs modern though cozy feel that permeates throughout the common areas and guest suites. The 221 rooms are apartment-style and vary in size, depending on your needs. They come fully-equipped with kitchens, but you're on vacation so try not to cook. The hotel can be reached from the airport for under $40 cab fare. Once you're there, a free limo service is offered. Oh, and there's a pool (the ocean is overrated). Long-stay rates are available so, if you feel like indulging your inner Dylan McKay, you can move in.
